My thanks to all for your condolences and best wishes. Jonathan’s reach was far and wide. Nick.

What a beautiful service!
Thanks…much better audio.
Thank you, Nick. Unfortunately the audio on the livestream was not the best. I was able to pick up on some things but couldn’t hear the laugh lines. Maybe some of the folks who were there can provide some highlights.
Ken, yes I only realized after hearing it back that the audio was poor. My apologies. I have posted a link to the video with much better audio. Nick.
Thank you Nicholas for allowing us to share in Jonathan’s memorial service from afar. He will be terribly missed by all.
Nick, no worries. I’m glad a better version exists and is posted. Best to you and all your family. The service was a wonderful tribute to Jonathan and I’m grateful I could see it.
Nick,
Thank you for sharing the link. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Elaine and the entire family.
Jeff
hi Nick. Will this Facebook link work for those of us who do not have Facebook? Thanks for doing this. I thought how neat to see the people we have learned so much from.
Kirby
Kirby, I believe you need to have a FB account but I may be wrong. We will post the video to YouTube soon after the service. I will post the link to it on HD.
Thank you. I never have anything to do with FB. All my sympathy to you and the rest of the family.
It says that it’s a public site and will work for anyone on or off Facebook.
I always thought Jonathan was smart and one of the Good Guys after I saw my first article by him in the WSJ. I’ve followed and learned from him ever since and I’m thankful I discovered him early in my financial life. I’ve regarded him as honest, truthful, not greedy, and kind. I started missing him before he died. May he rest in humble peace.

Thank you!
Thank you, Nick. I’ll be thinking of your family especially on Saturday. May Jonathan’s memory (continue to) be a blessing. 🙏
Thank you Nick for posting about the online final arrangements for your younger brother Jonathan.
My older brother died unexpectedly in 2009 and not a year goes by when a random event floods and triggers my current thoughts with familiar memories of him. Your brother’s goodness will live on in the thoughts of many but I am certain that his family will feel his impact in their lives the strongest and longest.
In your 6/27/2017 Humble Dollar article, Not a Good Time, you wrote about your experience being co-executor with your twin brother for your father’s estate. In that article you clearly stated what what you and the Clements family must again be feeling – “Death never comes at a good time“.
Bill
Bill, thank you for your kind note. It’s appreciated. Nick.
Nick,
Thanks for posting this. Jonathan meant so much to so many of us.
Andrew
From previous thread:
I’ve set up a “Pizza in Philly” form on google https://forms.gle/oZgu13XMaTEJ8ibZ7
If you’re going to be around Saturday, fill out the form and I’ll try to coordinate for seating and communicate plans.
Hope to see people there. Jonathan was pretty dedicated to growing this community. Having a gathering to further that aim would seem a fitting small tribute.
Those interested are welcome to gather after the service at Pizzeria
Stella, 420 S. 2nd Street. The reservation is under “George Jones” for 1pm.
Thanks for posting the streaming link, Nick, and for taking point in setting up the stream for the service!
HD readers: Nick set it up as a public Facebook event so anyone with a FB account can watch.
Thanks for the link Nicholas. I was hoping to attend but have come down with a nasty cold. Best that I not attend.
As you may have seen I have written on the site that Jonathan is on my three person personal investing Mount Rushmore. I am sad for your family that he is gone, but definitely remembered by all of us. I will honor his memory by “attending” virtually.

Nick, appreciate you sending the link to the service for those of us who can’t come. I continue to pray for the Clements family. Chris
Thank you Chris, we appreciate it.
