In the past week I have received important notifications via email from two experts in their field that will impact your finances:
1) Phill Moeller who’s website is called Aging in America- is considered one of the the foremost authorities on Medicare writes:
Medicare announced that Part B monthly premiums would rise to $185.00 in 2025 from $174.70 this year – an increase of $10.30, or 5.9 percent. The annual Part B deductible, which most people must pay before their Medicare coverage begins, will rise by $17, or 7 percent, to $257 from $240. Part B covers doctors, medical equipment, and outpatient expenses.
2) Mike Piper who’s Oblivious Investor Website is a CPA and is probably the foremost expert on Social Security just sent an email that contains all the inflation based changes in tax brackets, deductions etc.
3) A third person I would recommend you receive emails from is Ed Slott. He also a CPA who is considered an expert in IRAs. His website is The Slott Report. I receive emailed information from him about IRA information and Roth conversions on a regular basis. In the email he answers question about IRAs which are fun to try to answer yourself before you read his answers.
I highly recommended you sign up for emails from these three leaders in their fields of knowledge.
Thank you for the information.
I look forward to Rob Berger’s Newsletter
