What a lovely story. There was definitely a reason why you remembered all those details. Congratulations on your anniversary.

My suggestion would be the southern coast of Maine. It is beautiful anytime, but especially in the off-season. The rugged coastline is gorgeous, the little towns make for great walking, and then there's the lobster rolls.

Those are such beautiful sentiments. Number eight especially resonated with me. I'm sorry that boarding school was an unfortunate experience. It was a rather long time. Mine was four years and, a good experience to make friends that are still part of my life.

I loved that last comment about looking back. I wonder if we'll be able to make a realistic assessment.

Jonathan, you are amazing and thoughtful. If only more people realized what a gift it is to have things in order. On another note, we recently returned from Paris. If you and Elaine like seafood, try Langosteria in the Cheval Blanc Hotel. The food is wonderful, and the view is even better.

"Focus on the consequences." A phrase I plan to put on my bulletin board. Love this article and the one in The Wall Street Journal. So glad they did such a fine one.

I can't add anything because you all said it all. I would just add that when you don't have children, friends become your family. I feel privileged and lucky to have a few that go way back. And we're all lucky to have Jonathan.
