    • I met Jonathan in a sandbox in Prospect Park about 35 years ago. Our daughters Hannah and Sonia were still apprentices to the human race, so we were pretty busy refereeing the girls and introducing foundational concepts like your turn and no sand in the eye. I don't think we got to compounded interest that first year. We became friends anyhow. I've been looking over his shoulder for years now and can vouch that he has always to his own self been true (Polonius' words but still a fine thought). Hard to say if the unwavering qualities are rooted in character or a lack of imagination. I've benefitted financially from Jonathan's books and articles to the tune of a more comfortable retirement, but my happiness quotient has benefitted more from our friendship.
