• Great article. My kids are still high school and college age but I imagine having the home available to them in early adulthood would be a plus, until they are more financially secure. Eg if they want to save for a down payment, or are in between jobs.

• Interesting article! My older daughter is a Freshman in college and just went through the process so it hits home. There is definitely a big variety of outcomes and costs as you noted, and some colleges still offer merit aid thought that seems to be in decline relative to financial aid. That's why we applied to quite a few colleges to see what offers would turn up.
