Having read Humble Dollar daily for the past several years and approaching my 49th birthday, you continue to offer good advice with plenty to consider. I will forever be grateful to you, Jonathan and the fellow Humble Dollar contributors.

Kathleen, funny you mention Jonathan's ROTH IRA story since after reading, it inspired me to do the same thing. Jonathan, I hope you realize how much you have helped people simplify and improve their financial plans.

Jonathan, I live across the country and we have never met but for the past several years, I start the morning reading Humble Dollar. After discovering the website, I devoured several of your books, all of which have helped my family strenghen our financial plan. As a younger (only a decade or so) man, I look up to you as an intelligent, thoughtful and practical gentleman who dedicated much time educating the broader group on an array of subjects. I cannot imagine the road ahead of you but please know there will be many people you have never met thinking of you and wishing you well.

Another helpful article. I may be on the younger side of Humble Dollar followers and read the articles daily while enjoying morning coffee. Love the sharing of experience and knowledge from those who are a bit ahead of me age wise. I suspect that upon retirement I will owe all of the contributors a great dead of graititude.

Jonathan, another impactful article for me. Having just celebrated a 48th birthday, I look forward to reading Humble Dollar daily and suspect that upon retirement (not sure exactly when) I will be indebted to the many contributors of Humble Dollar and yourself for perspective and sound advice. Many thanks..

I am one of the young people (somewhat...late 40's) who appreciate the advice and stories from the generation before me. Wonderful story Marjorie and as a side note, my mom grew up in Brooklyn during the same time as you. Mr. Quinn...I am listening to you too:).

Thank you for posting as this subject has been on my mind. I am in the process of recasting my mortgage and on the lender recast request form it states the fee is not charged for the following states: AL, AZ, CA, IA, KS, MA, MS, MT, NC, PA, TX, VT and WV.
