Danny, you can go to Treasury Direct and convert those bonds to electronic. Then you can do several things with them and not need to find a bank that will cash the bonds for you. Depending on amount you could put them into I bonds in your trust and they can sit there for years generating a decent, not an amazing, rate and avoiding state tax depending where you live.
