Dick, thanks for another thought provoking post. While we are traveling a point is always made, should this location be a possible relocation and de accumulation for our present location. With offspring scattered north and south who know where the roulette wheel will stop.
The transition was rough over ten years ago with the un anticipated release into the next phase of life. The structure, meetings, reports were all suddenly gone in the rear view mirror. Adjusting took some getting used to but now being experienced in this phase, the days have become busier than ever with travel, puttering and tinkering keeping up with technology changes. Projects around the house are gradual and eventually become completed. There is more time to visit the grocery store, enjoy a library book, and just relax.
The manufacturers also have the ability to disable the vehicle if a car payment has been missed. But no worries here in our trusty '90 Volvo 740. ACE hardware fabricated a key for it for less than three dollars.
Jonathan what a discovery that was a shock to us all. I am sorry for the unfortunate discovery and can only imagine how life suddenly became that much more valuable with a medical time stamp. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
A paid off home is less money paid to doctors for the stress induced health issues resulting from job loss. The layoffs always resulted in hidden benefits not realized until years later looking back. Thanks for a look into your life's experience, and dealing with a special needs child.
Michael good that you are able to check in with all the nuggets of information on travel taken to a new level. Any plans to go the route of U-tube videos with the adventures? Every day is a surprise to learn what the HD followers are experiencing.
Jeff I could feel the stress at each transition point of your career. But the important point is you survived and provided a valuable lesson on putting money away for retirement. Thanks for a great post.
Jonathon great experimental article. Will this be a first in a series? It's good to experience AI with all the reviews and everyone continues to learn something new with each HD article.
Jonathon this reminds me of the commercial is it real, or is it Memorex. Who would have thought having the articles fabricated would become commonplace. Thanks for the heads up on the experiment.

Ed the book reviews do need to be started as past posts had referenced books I bought home from the local library and was never disappointed.
