I recently read that something in the secure 2.0 act allows taxes paid on annuity

income from a qualified, annuitized annuity will count toward a rmd from

a separate ira account. Is this accurate?

Donna, my understanding is that distributions from the annuity that exceed what would be the RMD on the annuity can be used toward satisfying the RMD on your other IRAs.
The entity who holds your accounts can easily calculate the RMDs for you. Be sure to check with them and to not rely on my statement here.
