    • Very important topic which I'm always thinking about. Might consider early retirement in a couple of years, but the thought of running out of money due to bad timing/markets is quite scary. For those of you who have played with calculators/programs that incorporate Monte Carlo simulation, would you share your suggestions on which ones to use in order to get a reasonable confirmation on whether or not one can 'safely' call it quits? Have tried the free ones from Fidelity/Schwab/Vanguard, but not comfortable w/ their different assessments. Thx.

    • Sanjib, without getting too personal, maybe you could publish another blog sharing your lessons and investment strategy during those years when your employer's stock was going nowhere. Know of so many who were not patient enough and didn't benefit when things eventually turned around more than a decade+ later. I think we can all learn a few lessons from your amazing journey.

    • Great story. Kind of guessed right away who the employer was based on the general details about the stock not going anywhere for a long time. Definitely a case where patience ultimately pays off if we own a solid business.
