NEVER. Most credit cards extend the manufacturer warranty up to one year longer (typically double what is stated up to 1 year.)

I subscribe to many travel emails. Some with a fee for better deals. I use the credit card game to sometimes book on their sites using points and earning points for that purchase. ALWAYS book airfare FIRST based upon the best/cheapest days to travel Look at the calendar on Google Flights. Then when you find a great deal, THEN look for accommodations, which are much easier. Most people do things backward... find where they want to go, book certain days, then find the flights... WRONG!!

YEARS ago, at the beginning when I was seated and the server came to take a drink order while mulling over the menu, I used to ask them: Do you know what compensatory means? 99% looked at me dumbfounded. I then said do you know what compensate means..... I then used it in a sentence.: Your tip is compensatory based on the quality of service I receive. :) I usually got better service. ;)

If I had ever had service so bad as to not want to leave a tip, I'd ask to speak to a manager to let them know what my experience was like. Maybe the server just had a difficult day or is having a tough time in life, and it crossed over into work that they couldn't do without the money. Just not leaving a tip doesn't fix the bad service situation. On typical to good service, I leave a tip from 15-20%. On ONE occasion, after receiving our beverages after 30 min, and after another 45 or so not getting the order, we just walked out. I called the restaurant the next day and let them know what had happened. It was busy, but not THAT busy to not even get our food. I think the order was never put in.

I would first tithe 10%. next, I'd buy a reasonable house for my sister to live in or use as a rental to live where she'd like. I would then redo my kitchen cabinets and bathrooms. Next, I'd pay off my husband's debts (car) and invest the rest. One of the investments would be a travel fund where we'd fly business class when flying long distances across an ocean. If I got the urge again, I'd buy a business property: self-storage, or RV parking. :) I have more than enough residential rentals.

When I first got married moved out of the house for the first time I kept a strict budget I think following a budget for several years help me to more or less know now and retirement what I have and don't have not have to watch it so closely. I highly recommend it for people and debt or those just starting out to actually see where your money goes or has gone.
