    • I'd say a nice computer is something I enjoy. I splurged for the Mac brand as it lasts a decade. It's trouble free, I enjoy wriitng and use it as a part time teacher. I also agree with a good sound system, we invested in Sonos years ago and enjoy it most days.

    • This effort on Part D will eventually drive up the cost of medication. After this was implemented, many organization dropped Part D coverage and congress is subsidising part of Part D with the remaining companies still offering it in Medicare. It sounded like a good idea, but without understanding details it becomes a problem. Nothing to do with the D or R team, just the basics of business. Companies will not lose money.

    • Hi David, looking in the rear view mirror are you pleased with your decision to delay the Roth conversions while you maximized ACA credits? I am at the decision point now and many feel that the tax credits aren't worth it, and to just convert early as in the long run it will pay off. What do you think?

    • My thoughts......Realize as a Country that makes our own currency, we can't run out of money. Review the details for MMT or Modern Monetary Theory. The decision is on how we spend our money, who we want to be as a Country, and balacing the spend with inflation. I think raising the income level on what level of income is taxed for SS should be the first step in helping to continue to fund the program. This social safety net will not go away.
