Never feel guilty because you're successful. I know a lot of well educated people who grew up in good homes with good jobs who don't have any money; mainly because they spent it all!! I also know a lot of poor people. They don't know how to make money, save it or invest it; and they don't care. Read the book "The Millionaire Next Door" and do what the book suggests.
Why would you pay off a mortgage with a 1.35% interest rate??? Your money would be better off in the stock market earning @10% or a Treasury note. I have a mortgage at 3% but I add extra money each month.
We talk way too little, the more we talk the more we learn. Most People do not like to talk about money because they don't know anything about it. They don't know how to make it, save it or invest it.
