Thanks Jeff, I enjoyed hearing about your life adventures. I am 66 and started eliminating activities that my knee couldn’t handle so that I could continue and add others. The latest are biking 6 miles a day and bocci ball. An aging Dr once told me her secret to living well is to keep moving. I hope to keep finding new interests as I age to keep me moving and motivated.
Matcha is gooda especially from a gourda :). Thanks for a great piece on a subject I know too well. I recently watched a video on using refrigerator “extras” by freezing bits of leftover veggie scraps throughout the week and using it for making vegetable stock and soups.
Thanks, great article. I like the idea of not owning too many things. As my wife and I age we are finding it easier to let go of things and enjoy donating the items we let go of to local charities. We are also exploring using PAS or similar low cost advisors for the same reason and one additional reason. If I live too a ripe old age or illness should happen and I don’t feel comfortable managing our money, it will be comforting to know my wife will have someone to work with if she doesn’t want to do it on her own.
Does her linguistics interests include foreign languages? Alternatively, speech therapy? I chose the path of college education for earning good pay and pursued interests that I loved outside of work and never regretted it.
