This isn't anything new. We have been using Parametric for large private clients to tax-efficiently invest in popular indexes like the S&P 500. Over time, the after-tax returns do outperform the S&P 500, but this strategy is not for everyone and there will likely be minimums. Low-cost index ETFs will continue to be the best product for the majority.
