    • IRS Free File is not for everyone. The ideal user is comfortable using computers to interact with websites. That description fits younger taxpayers, say, under 30 years of age, who have simple tax returns. Often it's one or two W-2. Yet those youngsters show up at Tax-Aide sites because they don't know about Free File, or don't know how to prepare their return. Either way, it's another example of something that should have been taught in schools, but was not.
