    • Thanks for this article. Mortality is what everyone faces from the day they are born. Regardless of wealth, race, ethnicity, etc. we are all give the same 24 hours in a day. Opening with "I'm not afraid of dying," is a statement worth contemplating. I had a client tell me recently, "I am always amazed at how confident you are of knowing where you go when you die." Not having regrets when we leave this life is an admirable goal, but being confident that this life is temporary and just a short-term journey to eternity brings a great deal of peace. As someone in their 60s I look forward to seeing my children and grandchildren in the future, long after I am gone from this earth. As a financial planner I thought the questions Randy Alcorn poses in his book, "Heaven," were some of the best I have seen in print. In particular he discusses how we spend so much time planning in regards to places we want to visit yet we don't delve into what the Bible says about Heaven, every person's potential future home. I provide this book to all of my clients that are diagnosed with an incurable disease, but it is really for everyone, because we are all headed in that direction, just some more quickly than others. If you haven't read it, I would encourage you to give it a read. Thank you again for sharing your insights over the years. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
