For some time I have been questioning why I get mail 6 days a week. It seems like 3 days would be fine for me and many other residential postal clients with a fee charged annually for anyone who wants 6 days. With regard to the postmark date change and the impact on vote by mail, I think this is not that big of a deal so long as people are aware of the change in policy and other options like drop boxes for sending in completed ballots.
I think the idea that someone would invest in stable coin is not wise and not it’s purpose. From what I can tell the benefit of using stable coin as opposed to a credit card or debit card is the fees paid by the vendor are considerably lower. Probably better to think about it like cash in your wallet that also isn’t making you any interest and is subject to being lost or stolen without compensation.
We used to have a small army of men who delivered blocks of ice to people’s back doors. When the refrigerator became affordable the ice delivery industry disappeared. Nobody misses them now. I suppose most of the workers found other jobs, maybe some took to delivering refrigerators. This is part of capitalism. We just have to adjust.
