Thanks for this article. I started making QCDs earlier this year when I turned 70.5, and I would be interested in seeing exactly how it affects my taxes for 2023. I've been able to itemize previously, mainly due to my charitable deductions, so it will be interesting to see if the QCDs shift me to the standard deduction instead.
